Hypnobirthing supports you to learn about the physiology of your birthing body along with visualisation and mindfulness techniques to create positive mindset conditions as you approach the birth of your baby and make choices about the type of birth you desire

Nurture your body before and after birth with massage. Massage is an ideal way to encourage physical and emotional relaxation, enhance feelings of well-being, reduce anxiety and increase the all important birth hormone, oxytocin.
Available at any stage of pregnancy, and from 1 week postpartum to assist your recovery and increase feelings of well-being (6 weeks post-partum for cesarean birth)

The Hypnobirthing sessions with Heather were a fantastic help towards my homebirth. Due to lockdown it was not possible to attend any ante-natal classes so the Hypnobirthing course was perfect, not only due to it being personal to us in our own home but also to bring a sense of calm and reassurance to an anxious event.
We discussed anxieties and coping methods, practiced visual, audio and active relaxation techniques and I discovered I am more of a visual person and was able to use this to effectively relax.
It was also a great catalyst for me and my partner to discuss and plan our birth preferences together. During labour I forgot so much of what I had learned and it was great to have my partner there who knew exactly how to support me
Post labour follow up with Heather was very welcome too, to be able to talk through the event with someone supportive but neutral really helped me process the most significant and unusual event of my life
Due to 2020 being 2020, giving birth and the months leading up to it had dramatically changed. There were no pre-natal classes, no meeting other expecting families, so we hit the internet, read books, and spoke to family and friends.
We had read about Hypnobirthing and Heather was recommended to us from a mutual friend so we thought 'let's try it' and we are eternally grateful we did.
Our baby was born 2 months early via cesarean. Although things changed quickly for us, we started implementing the skills we learned with Heather in very different circumstances than we expected when we ended up in an emergency situation.
I believe this helped us to stay strong, focus, and most importantly relax, relax, relax.
